Donneeen is working with UCL, TUBITAK and British Council on a Micro Grid project in Turkey
Donneeen is working on a large initiative from German government climate change fund to work on storm surge risk assessment and mitigation in South-South and South-East Asia.
We believe weather existed even before humans and we are working and managing environmental data before even Donneeen existed. This is one of the core business pillars of Donneeen. This is one area where data is the key and we have seen there is no lack of weather data this is a lack of the platform for where it can be considered as a single-sourced trusted data.
We are making our best effort to make this data available for the public good. This access goes beyond the institutional capacity and it can be easily accessed by anyone even at the individual level. Historically our initial interest is the southeast Asian region but we are growing rapidly and will cover the rest of the world too as we progress. On the one side, we are a single point of climate data on the other side we are also helping organizations to create the best analytical platform for them.
This effort was initially developed within Donneeen but then gradually we became more global due to the greater interest in this data from other stakeholders. We certainly see this as a great way to bring climate scientists into one hub and become a single source of trusted data. We are growing rapidly in this and as we progress we soon want to be the pioneer in this by the quality of the data.
